The “Packard Model Tonneau” (1904) (a.k.a. “touring”) with 22 HP 4 cylinder engine of 242 c.i. capacity. It was the first Packard which got the famous “ox yoke” radiator outline. Gear box and differential were combined on the rear axle.
The body was aluminum over wood, with aluminum also used for the crankcase. Standard equipment included two side oil lamps, one rear oil lamp, bulb horn and tube, front and rear storm aprons, and a tool kit.
207 Packard Model L were manufactured in 1904.
