Imperia Standard Vanguard Convertible

Standard did not offer a convertible version of the Vanguard. Imperia technicians, who mount the Standard Vanguard under license, took advantage of this opportunity and produced a convertible version which was presented at the Brussels Motor Show in January 1950. The Vanguard convertible is simply called “Nessonvaux” because of the name of the city in the Liège region where the Imperia factories are located. 43 convertibles with two or six seats will be manufactured until 1953.
