The Abarth 595 Yamaha Factory Racing Edition reflects the partnership between the two manufacturers. It features the upgraded 1.4 liter turbocharged engine with a full 25 hp boost over the stock Abarth 595 with manual gearbox. The engines breathes through a BMC performance filter and a Monza racing exhaust.
The visual appeal of the model comes by way of features like Abarth side stripes, mirror covers, darkened windows, and painted brake calipers. It is available in 7 different colors.
The car sits low on its 17″ matte black alloy wheels thanks to a set of Eibach lowering springs and Koni shock absorbers with FSD valves.
Abarth celebrated its position as official sponsor and car supplier of the FIM MotoGP Championship with the launch of a new range of 595 sport hatches: the 595 Yamaha Factory Racing Edition.
Created in collaboration with Yamaha and world champions Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo on the road to a historic double in the 2016 championship. This edition was presented in a selection of seven eye-catching colours and full of sporting features.
With 17-inch matte black alloy wheels, painted brake calipers and, optionally, matching Abarth sidebands and mirror caps, there was no doubt that this 595 Yamaha Factory Racing Edition was a version of Yamaha Factory Racing Edition. Dark windows, flat bottom leather steering wheel, aluminum pedals and the special “Yamaha Factory Racing” badge, all standard on the model, were the sporting credentials of the model. Xenon headlights, leather interior and dual zone air conditioning were some of the options.
Powered by an improved version of Abarth’s powerful 1.4 litre T-Jet engine, the 595 Yamaha Factory Racing Edition was further enhanced with a Record Monza exhaust system, Koni shock absorbers with FSD valves and Eibach descent springs.
With an upgrade to 160 horsepower, lowered suspension, sporty look and a great-sounding exhaust system, it gave this sporty utility vehicle, limited to just 25 units, an aesthetic (and dynamic) charm.
