O p\u00fablico p\u00f4de admirar o extraordin\u00e1rio Abarth Grande Punto S2000 no Sal\u00e3o Autom\u00f3vel de Genebra 2007. Era um carro de corrida concebido para competi\u00e7\u00f5es de rali, no qual o departamento de corridas da Fiat Racing participou no Campeonato Italiano de Ralis de 2007 com Giandomenico Basso e o seu navegador Mitia Dotta. Davide Gatti, vencedor do Trof\u00e9u Internacional Fiat Abarth 2006, competiu ao volante de um Fiat Grande Punto R3D oficial com motor diesel. No cen\u00e1rio internacional, o Grande Punto Abarth S2000 competiu no IRC (Intercontinental Rally Challenge) com os pilotos Andrea Navarra, seu navegador Guido D’Amore, e os jovens Umberto Scandola e Anton Alen.<\/p>\n

A equipe de corridas da Abarth & C. Spa foi liderada por Claudio Berro.<\/p>\n

O Abarth Grande Punto S2000 foi equipado com um motor aspirado de trac\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s 4 rodas de 270 cv, herdeiro da vers\u00e3o que venceu o Campeonato Italiano de Ralis de 2006 com Paolo Andreucci e Anna Andreussi, ganhando 7 das 11 corridas do programa. Tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o devemos esquecer a excelente temporada de seus colegas Andrea Navarra e Guido Guido D’Amore, que obteve o terceiro lugar. Giandomenico Basso e Mitia Dotta ganharam o t\u00edtulo europeu e o International Rally Challenge.<\/p>\n

Desde a sua estreia, a vers\u00e3o de competi\u00e7\u00e3o revelou-se imbat\u00edvel, independentemente do tipo de percurso ou terreno. E devemos sublinhar que os 15 carros constru\u00eddos foram encomendados por v\u00e1rias equipas, na Europa e no resto do mundo, para competirem em ralis nacionais e internacionais. Gra\u00e7as a esta superioridade tecnol\u00f3gica e competitiva, o Grande Punto Abarth S2000 conseguiu competir com grande determina\u00e7\u00e3o e firmeza em ambos os campeonatos.<\/p>\n
