O Packard De Luxe Eight Roadster \u00e9 um autom\u00f3vel de duas portas com carro\u00e7aria e motor dianteiro que acciona as rodas traseiras. Faz parte da gama de modelos 745 da Packard. \u00c9 alimentado por um motor de aspira\u00e7\u00e3o natural com uma capacidade de 6,3 litros. Esta unidade tem uma engrenagem de v\u00e1lvula lateral, uma disposi\u00e7\u00e3o de 8 cilindros e 2 v\u00e1lvulas por cilindro. A pot\u00eancia \u00e9 transmitida \u00e0s rodas atrav\u00e9s de uma caixa de velocidades manual de 4 velocidades. O peso declarado \u00e9 de 2130 kg.<\/p>\n

A dist\u00e2ncia entre eixos permaneceu a mesma para os Packards maiores nesse ano, mas uma transmiss\u00e3o de quatro velocidades era nova e uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o de eixo traseiro de 4,69:1 estava dispon\u00edvel. <\/p>\n

O carburador era um fluxo de ar ascendente de Detroit, e duas correias de ventoinha foram instaladas. Uma bomba de v\u00e1cuo foi adicionada no meio do ano. Todas as janelas eram agora feitas de vidro laminado n\u00e3o quebradi\u00e7o, havia um porta-luvas em cada lado do painel de instrumentos e tanto o banco do condutor como o volante eram ajust\u00e1veis. As luzes de estacionamento estavam agora montadas no p\u00e1ra-choques, e os far\u00f3is mudaram a sua apar\u00eancia parab\u00f3lica para uma que se assemelha a um meio mel\u00e3o. Pe\u00e7as de reposi\u00e7\u00e3o de montagem dupla eram padr\u00e3o no 745, uma op\u00e7\u00e3o no 740. <\/p>\n

1.789 unidades deste modelo foram fabricadas a um pre\u00e7o de $4.585.<\/p>\n

Foram oferecidos quinze designs na linha Individual Personalizada: seis da LeBaron, cinco da Brewster e dois da Rollston e Dietrich cada.<\/p>\n
