Le public a pu admirer l’extraordinaire Abarth Grande Punto S2000 au Salon de Gen\u00e8ve 2007. Il s’agissait d’une voiture de course con\u00e7ue pour les comp\u00e9titions de rallye, dans laquelle le d\u00e9partement course de Fiat Racing a particip\u00e9 au Championnat italien des rallyes 2007 avec Giandomenico Basso et son navigateur Mitia Dotta. Davide Gatti, vainqueur du Troph\u00e9e international Fiat Abarth 2006, a pris le volant d’une Fiat Grande Punto R3D officielle avec moteur diesel. Sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale, la Grande Punto Abarth S2000 a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l’IRC (Intercontinental Rally Challenge) avec les pilotes Andrea Navarra, son navigateur Guido D’Amore, le jeune Umberto Scandola et Anton Alen.<\/p>\n

L’Abarth Grande Punto S2000 \u00e9tait propuls\u00e9e par un moteur 4 roues motrices aspir\u00e9 de 2000 cc 270 ch, h\u00e9ritier de la version qui a remport\u00e9 le titre de Champion d’Italie des rallyes 2006 avec Paolo Andreucci et Anna Andreussi, remportant 7 des 11 courses au programme. Sans oublier l’excellente saison de ses coll\u00e8gues Andrea Navarra et Guido Guido D’Amore, qui ont obtenu la troisi\u00e8me place. Giandomenico Basso et Mitia Dotta ont remport\u00e9 le titre europ\u00e9en et l’International Rally Challenge.<\/p>\n

Depuis ses d\u00e9buts, la version comp\u00e9tition s’est av\u00e9r\u00e9e imbattable, quel que soit le type de parcours et le terrain. Et il faut souligner que les 15 voitures construites ont \u00e9t\u00e9 command\u00e9es par plusieurs \u00e9quipes en Europe et ailleurs, pour participer \u00e0 des rallyes nationaux et internationaux. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette sup\u00e9riorit\u00e9 technologique et comp\u00e9titive, la Grande Punto Abarth S2000 a pu concourir avec d\u00e9termination et fermet\u00e9 dans les deux championnats.<\/p>\n
