L\u2019Abarth Grande Punto propose \u00e9galement des si\u00e8ges baquets qui maintiennent le corps en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 contre les forces lat\u00e9rales et longitudinales, tout en conservant l\u2019ergonomie et le confort des si\u00e8ges destin\u00e9s \u00e0 un usage routier. Pour les pilotes du dimanche, il fallait tenir compte du fait que le dossier comprenait l\u2019appui-t\u00eate et la fente qui permet le passage possible des harnais avec quatre points de fixation. Il associait la nervosit\u00e9 et la puissance d\u2019Abarth \u00e0 la ligne sportive et \u00e9lanc\u00e9e de Giugiaro.<\/p>\n<p>Moteur 1.4 turbo essence (g\u00e9om\u00e9trie fixe Garrett) de 150 ch \u00e0 5500 tr\/min, port\u00e9 \u00e0 155 ch avec l\u2019utilisation d\u2019essence sp\u00e9ciale. Le couple maximum \u00e9tait \u00e9galement \u00e9lev\u00e9 (dans la fiche technique, il \u00e9tait marqu\u00e9 d\u2019une valeur de 206 Nm disponible de 2 000 tr\/min \u00e0 230 Nm \u00e0 3 000 tr\/min en mode Sport). Avec un kit de mise \u00e0 niveau qu\u2019Abarth a mis \u00e0 la disposition des clients en augmentant la puissance \u00e0 180 ch. Parmi les innovations techniques introduites figurait la commande de papillon \u201cdrive by wire\u201d sans connexions m\u00e9caniques.
