Le mod\u00e8le 38 \u00e9tait disponible en onze styles de carrosserie diff\u00e9rents sur trois longueurs d&#8217;empattement diff\u00e9rentes, dont la plus longue (138 pouces &#8211; 3505,2 mm) \u00e9tait propos\u00e9e avec une carrosserie en pha\u00e9ton pour cinq passagers d&rsquo;une longueur totale massive de 179,25 pouces &#8211; 4552,95 mm.<\/p>\n<p>La toute derni\u00e8re Junior Packard \u00e9tait propuls\u00e9e par un tout nouveau L-head straight-six de 415 pouces cubes &#8211; 6800 cm3 et d\u00e9veloppant 60 ch, ou 38 ch ALAM (d&rsquo;o\u00f9 la nomenclature du mod\u00e8le). Equip\u00e9 de s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;un pare-brise inclinable en cas d&rsquo;orage, de feux lat\u00e9raux et de phares \u00e9lectriques, d&rsquo;un feu d&rsquo;avertissement arri\u00e8re \u00e9lectrique\/k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne, de deux jantes d\u00e9montables suppl\u00e9mentaires, d&rsquo;un porte-pneu arri\u00e8re et d&rsquo;une bo\u00eete \u00e0 outils, le 38 \u00e9tait \u00e9galement \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;un nouveau tableau de commande des instruments mont\u00e9 sur la colonne de direction.<\/p>\n<p>En f\u00e9vrier 1913, Packard a mis \u00e0 jour le 38 sous une forme plus d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e mod\u00e8le 1914 sous le nom de mod\u00e8le 1438. Au total, 1 618 voitures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construites pour les ann\u00e9es 13 et 14, mais seule une petite partie d&rsquo;entre elles \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9e de la carrosserie \u00ab\u00a0pha\u00e9ton\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 cinq places propos\u00e9e sur le ch\u00e2ssis massif 138 pouces-3505,2 mm \u00e0 empattement. Une liste compil\u00e9e par des passionn\u00e9s de la marque ne compte pas plus de quatre \u00ab\u00a0phaetons\u00a0\u00bb restants, dont cette voiture est le seul exemple de premi\u00e8re
