Packard a gliss\u00e9 au 16e rang des ventes de l’industrie automobile cette saison. Le classement des ventes a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tabli en fonction des livraisons annuelles de 55 477 v\u00e9hicules, comparativement \u00e0 une production totale de 81 879 automobiles pour l’ann\u00e9e mod\u00e8le. L’\u00e9cart inhabituellement important entre les deux s’explique par le passage aux vingt-deux nouveaux mod\u00e8les de la s\u00e9rie (1948-1949) qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 la fin de l’ann\u00e9e civile 1947.
