Options : Radio d&rsquo;usine (am\u00e9lior\u00e9e), brouillard Packard et feux de route. Type de traction : diff\u00e9rentiel arri\u00e8re hypo\u00efde semi-flottant. <\/p>\n<p>20e s\u00e9rie (alias 1942) Les Packards ont de nouveau \u00e9t\u00e9 revus \u00e0 la hausse par rapport \u00e0 l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. Les nouveaut\u00e9s sont \u00ab\u00a0eight\u00a0\u00bb mod\u00e8les de base, quatre sous la forme traditionnelle et quatre bas\u00e9s sur le mod\u00e8le Clipper introduit en 1941. <\/p>\n<p>Special et Custom Six et Eights ont remplac\u00e9 les anciens One-Ten et One-Tenty, ainsi que leurs variantes Deluxe. Techniquement, il y avait peu de diff\u00e9rences. Les mod\u00e8les Super Eight et Custom Super Eight \u00e9taient consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des Packards \u00ab\u00a0senior\u00a0\u00bb. <\/p>\n<p>Il y avait encore quelques Packard sur mesure, avec le dashy Darrin Victroria dont on se souvenait le mieux. Les mod\u00e8les traditionnels se distinguent par de grandes grilles lat\u00e9rales horizontales et des jantes de phares plus massives surmont\u00e9es d&rsquo;une garniture chrom\u00e9e plus lourde. <\/p>\n<p>Les mod\u00e8les Clipper ont une calandre l\u00e9g\u00e8rement r\u00e9vis\u00e9e et une nouvelle berline club \u00e0 deux portes. L&rsquo;ann\u00e9e de fabrication s&rsquo;est termin\u00e9e t\u00f4t, et les derniers mod\u00e8les de 1942 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 livr\u00e9s avec une garniture \u00ab\u00a0black-out\u00a0\u00bb en raison des restrictions de la guerre sur le chrome.<\/p>\n<p>Les signaux clignotants et les enjoliveurs en forme de disque qui ne disaient pas \u00ab\u00a0Packard\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9taient communs aux Packard Junior et Senior en 1942. <\/p>\n<p>Le moteur huit cylindres en ligne de troisi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u00e9veloppe d\u00e9sormais 165 ch. <\/p>\n<p>Le style Clipper est venu \u00e0 la One-Sixty dans une berline de club et \u00e0 la berline Touring dans l&#8217;empattement de 3 225,8 millim\u00e8tres, avec le coup\u00e9 convertible \u00e9tant le seul One-Sixty de style traditionnel maintenant dans ce ch\u00e2ssis. <\/p>\n<p>Le look traditionnel One-Sixty a \u00e9t\u00e9 maintenu sur les voitures 3.505mm et 3.759, ce dernier ch\u00e2ssis comprend d\u00e9sormais une nouvelle business sedan et limousine. Cependant, m\u00eame sur ces mod\u00e8les, le Clipper a \u00e9t\u00e9 clign\u00e9 de l&rsquo;\u0153il avec le passage de la verticale \u00e0 l&rsquo;horizontale dans les grilles flanquant le radiateur (ce que tous les non-Clipper ont fait).
