Il fait partie de la gamme Packard 745. Il est propuls\u00e9 par un moteur \u00e0 aspiration naturelle d&rsquo;une capacit\u00e9 de 6,3 litres. Cette unit\u00e9 est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&rsquo;un engrenage \u00e0 soupapes lat\u00e9rales, d&rsquo;une disposition \u00e0 8 cylindres et de 2 soupapes par cylindre. La puissance est transmise aux roues par l&rsquo;interm\u00e9diaire d&rsquo;une bo\u00eete de vitesses manuelle \u00e0 4 rapports. Le poids d\u00e9clar\u00e9 est de 2130 kg.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;empattement est demeur\u00e9 le m\u00eame pour les Packard de plus grande taille cette ann\u00e9e, mais une transmission \u00e0 quatre rapports \u00e9tait neuve et un rapport de pont arri\u00e8re de 4,69:1 \u00e9tait disponible. <\/p>\n<p>Le carburateur \u00e9tait un flux d&rsquo;air ascendant de Detroit, et deux courroies de ventilateur ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9es. Une pompe \u00e0 vide a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9e au milieu de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e. Toutes les fen\u00eatres \u00e9taient maintenant faites de verre feuillet\u00e9 non fragile, il y avait une bo\u00eete \u00e0 gants de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9 du tableau de bord, et le si\u00e8ge du conducteur et le volant \u00e9taient r\u00e9glables.
