\"Oakland<\/a><\/p>\n

La deuxi\u00e8me s\u00e9rie de mod\u00e8les Oakland All-American Six a \u00e9t\u00e9 caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par de nouveaux designs de carrosserie avec des lignes de capot et des ceintures plus hautes, des lignes de toit plus basses et des ailes plus larges. <\/p>\n

Un seul corps de radiateur en forme de fer \u00e0 cheval \u00e9tait divis\u00e9 par une barre centrale verticale. Le capot attrayant avait cinq ensembles de stores verticaux. Un seul c\u00e2ble d’ancrage s’\u00e9tend compl\u00e8tement autour du corps du radiateur. <\/p>\n

Tous les mod\u00e8les sauf le roadster et le phaeton, qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construits par Stewart, avaient des carrosseries Fisher. Les caract\u00e9ristiques de s\u00e9rie comprenaient une visi\u00e8re sur le pare-brise, un essuie-glace automatique et un r\u00e9troviseur.<\/p>\n

La production de la deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9dition d’Oakland\/1929 mod\u00e8le 212 (24 septembre 1928 au 9 octobre 1929) a totalis\u00e9 50 693 voitures.<\/p>\n

MOTEUR <\/strong>: T\u00eate en L \u00e0 six cylindres. Diam\u00e8tre et course : 3-3\/8 x 4-1\/4 po D\u00e9placement : 3736 cc. Puissance : 68 \u00e0 3000 tr\/min. Refroidi \u00e0 l’eau. TECHNIQUE : Supports de moteur en caoutchouc \u00e0 quatre points d’ancrage ; traverses de ch\u00e2ssis renforc\u00e9es pour recevoir des carrosseries plus lourdes.<\/p>\n

Empattement <\/strong>: 2972 mm. Freins hydrauliques Midland Steeld sur les quatre roues. Rapport de d\u00e9multiplication finale : 4,42:1 \u00e0 4,73:1.<\/p>\n

OPTIONS <\/strong>: Amortisseurs Lovejoy. Six roues \u00e0 rayons avec enjoliveurs \u00e0 large face. Pinces lat\u00e9rales chrom\u00e9es. Cache-pneu pour roue de secours mont\u00e9e \u00e0 l’arri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

HISTORIQUE <\/strong>: Le 24 janvier 1929, l’ing\u00e9nieur en chef d’Oakland, Ben Anibal, a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 le brevet am\u00e9ricain num\u00e9ro 1897783 pour son moteur huit cylindres en V qui allait devenir le moteur 1930-31 d’Oakland. Le 8 mars 1929, le millioni\u00e8me Oakland fut construit. Dans la conclusion de 1929, Oakland se classait au 21e rang des ventes de l’industrie parmi 33 constructeurs automobiles.<\/p>\n
