L&rsquo;apparence g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de tous les mod\u00e8les a \u00e9t\u00e9 rehauss\u00e9e par l&rsquo;utilisation de carrosseries plus basses et plus longues, de nouveaux garde-boue, de capots plus longs et de r\u00e9visions de la conception du panneau arri\u00e8re. <\/p>\n<p>Le radiateur, les jantes des lampes et les loquets du capot \u00e9taient chrom\u00e9s. Un pneu de secours \u00e9tait maintenant de s\u00e9rie sur tous les mod\u00e8les Oakland. Il y avait aussi un pare-brise Fisher Vision &#038; Ventilating, un r\u00e9troviseur, un feu de freinage et un feu de r\u00e9troviseur, une jauge d&rsquo;essence sur le tableau de bord, des pare-soleil (mod\u00e8les ferm\u00e9s seulement), un bo\u00eetier de radiateur chrom\u00e9, des jantes de lampe chrom\u00e9es et des loquets de capot chrom\u00e9s. La Phaeton Sport et la Roadster Sport avaient un compartiment \u00e0 bagages.<\/p>\n<p>La production du mod\u00e8le 212 d&rsquo;Oakland (du 22 juin 1927 au 25 juin 1928) totalise 60 121 wagons.<\/p>\n<p>MOTEURS : T\u00eate en L \u00e0 six cylindres. Diam\u00e8tre et course : 3-1\/4 X 4-1\/4 po D\u00e9placement : 3.472 cc. Puissance : 60 \u00e0 2800 tr\/min. Taux de compression : 4,9:1. Refroidi \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau.<\/p>\n<p>TECHNIQUE : La culasse de General Motors Research (GMR) int\u00e8gre un d\u00e9flecteur convexe sur les pistons pour r\u00e9duire la d\u00e9tonation et permettre un taux de compression plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 ; un vilebrequin forg\u00e9 \u00e0 quatre roulements avec r\u00e9glage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 du contrepoids et amortisseur de torsion ; un distributeur mont\u00e9 sur le bloc moteur lat\u00e9ral ; utilisation novatrice de la pompe et du filtre \u00e0 carburant (syst\u00e8me \u00e0 vide remplac\u00e9).<\/p>\n<p>Empattement : 2 972 mm. Pneus, 29 x 5,50 mont\u00e9s sur roues d&rsquo;artillerie en bois de 19 pouces de rayon. <\/p>\n<p>Freins externes \u00e0 quatre roues avec tambours de 12-3\/8 po de largeur (1-7\/8 po). Rapport de d\u00e9multiplication finale : 4,41:1.<\/p>\n<p>OPTIONS : Toutes les Oaklands 1928 avaient des cadres perfor\u00e9s pour l&rsquo;installation des amortisseurs optionnels Delco-Remy-Lovejoy.
