Hollingdrake fabriqua ses propres carrosseries jusqu&rsquo;en 1924 environ, avant de sous-traiter le travail \u00e0 ses voisins imm\u00e9diats, G. W. Smith, et cette voiture porte la plaque de Hollingdrake sur la caisse. <\/p>\n<p>Peter Price a vendu la voiture \u00e0 l&rsquo;ancien propri\u00e9taire, Bob Danaher, apr\u00e8s la mort duquel elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 achet\u00e9e comme un projet non restaur\u00e9 par Kingsley Curtis. <\/p>\n<p>La restauration a commenc\u00e9 vers 2007, la r\u00e9novation de la carrosserie a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite par Nick Paravani avec du bois de David Friswell et la r\u00e9novation m\u00e9canique par Peter Barber-Lomax. Au cours des 18 derniers mois, la voiture a fait l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;importants travaux de restauration chez Ashridge Automobiles pour la remettre en \u00e9tat de la route avec des factures au dossier pour ces travaux r\u00e9cents s&rsquo;\u00e9levant \u00e0 7250 euros. Cela comprenait la restauration du r\u00e9servoir de carburant et des tuyaux ; la r\u00e9vision du carburateur et de l'\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0Autovac\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0, le r\u00e9ajustement et l&rsquo;ajustement de l&rsquo;aimant ; l&rsquo;usinage et l&rsquo;assemblage du tableau de bord ; le travail sur le moteur et la bo\u00eete de vitesses ; et un c\u00e2blage complet comprenant l&rsquo;amp\u00e8rem\u00e8tre, la dynamo, le r\u00e9gulateur, les feux avant et arri\u00e8re, les feux lat\u00e9raux, le commutateur du frein, le coupe batterie principal et deux feux int\u00e9rieurs. <\/p>\n<p>Les travaux ont \u00e9galement commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur, y compris la coloration et le vernissage du plafond, la restauration des cartes de porte et l&rsquo;installation de moquettes reli\u00e9es.  Cette automobile rare et incroyablement charmante est admissible aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements VSCC (Vintage Sports Car Club) et a pass\u00e9 14 ans avec son ancien fournisseur de soins.
