Reinforced by the success of the then recent conversion kits (one Abarth 500 out of three was converted with the official kit), Abarth expanded its range by launching the world premiere of the Esseesse kits for the new Abarth 500C and Abarth Punto Evo<\/a> in Paris. They were designed to improve performance, manoeuvrability and safety without sacrificing the car’s low emissions and fuel consumption. The esseesse kit available for the Abarth 500C was the Abarth Koni whose price was 3,200 euros.<\/p>\n

The stand housed two Esseesse cars that perfectly illustrated the spirit of the Abarth tune-up, encapsulating substance and good looks: in keeping with the brand tradition and market demands, Abarth cars are a blend of sporty yet elegant looks and safe driving experience, but always with levels of sporty performance. The Esseesse kit for the 500C turned this small convertible into a real open-roof sports car: 160 HP, maximum torque of 230 Nm, maximum speed of 209 km\/h and acceleration of 0-100 km\/h in just 7.6 seconds.<\/p>\n

The Abarth 500C Esseesse was presented with an elegant Campovolo grey and Pista grey bicolor paint with a white chromatic lining, an element that divided and at the same time combined the two “souls” of the car: the elegance of a cabriolet at the top and the sporty performance of the Esseesse kit at the bottom. The esseesse 500C was exhibited with an original Record Monza exhaust silencer (dual mode with variable counterpressure) that improved engine sound above 4000 rpm and, as in the Punto Evo<\/a>, with an Abarth Blue&MeTM MAP satellite navigation system with telemetry.<\/p>\n

These two models could be very different, but they shared the same spirit, the sporty spirit of the Abarth Scorpion logo, which has proven to ignite the passion of thousands of motorists with a taste for challenge, performance and Italian style. In the words of the advertising slogan “More power to your senses”, in an Abarth car all the senses are stimulated to the maximum. Perception was further amplified by the two kits that guaranteed even more driving performance and adrenaline: in short, the Abarth conversion kits represented a reinforcement taken to its highest levels.<\/p>\n
