Entworfen von Colonel Jesse Vincent. Dieser Motor trieb die Prestigemodelle des Unternehmens bis 1922 an.<\/p>\n<p>Bei einer Kapazit\u00e4t f\u00fcr 7 Passagiere betrug der Radstand 126,5 in | 3213 mm.<\/p>\n<p>Der neue &#8222;twin six&#8220; war ein Fahrzeug, das das Unternehmen f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten zwei Jahrzehnte im Bereich Luxus positionieren und den Ton f\u00fcr das globale Denken von Packard f\u00fcr viele Jahre vorgeben sollte. <\/p>\n<p>Die Fahrzeuge wurden direkt im Top-Verkaufssegment platziert. Es wurden zwei Serien angeboten, die 1-25 mit neun Modellen und die 1-35 mit 13 Modellen. Die Bezeichnungen basierten auf dem Radstand, nicht auf der Leistung. <\/p>\n<p>Die Kosten f\u00fcr die 2-T\u00fcrer Coup\u00e9 war $ 2.700 und die 3 Passagiere Coup\u00e9 war $ 3.700. <\/p>\n<p>Eines der besten Zeugnisse der &#8222;Twin Six&#8220; stammt aus Rolls Royces Haus. Seit zwanzig Jahren hat das Auto von Packard den Ruf, in Amerika das zu sein, was der Rolls Royce in England ist. Das Chassis des neuen &#8222;Twin-six&#8220; ist nicht mehr wie beim vorherigen Packard, es besteht aus gepresstem 6-Zoll tiefem Kanalprofilstahl.
