Der Motor blieb ein L-Kopf in Reihe sechs, mit einer leicht erweiterten Kapazit\u00e4t f\u00fcr 1926 dank eines gr\u00f6\u00dferen Durchmessers von 3,5 Zoll und wurde mit 60 PS ausgelegt. <\/p>\n<p>Die Drehmomentst\u00fctze wurde durch einen Hotchkiss-Motor ersetzt und die &#8222;Six&#8220; teilten sich mehrere mechanische Komponenten mit der gr\u00f6\u00dferen &#8222;Eight&#8220;, darunter auch Vierradbremsen. <\/p>\n<p>Eine weitere Innovation von 1926 war die breite Palette an Lackfarben, wobei Packard eine neue Lackformel verwendete, und die Wahl der Stoff- oder Lederpolsterung. Die einzigen verf\u00fcgbaren Optionen waren eine einseitige Montage und Haubenbeleuchtung. <\/p>\n<p>Die Gesamtproduktion der 1926er &#8222;Six&#8220; betrug 49.988 Einheiten (plus 2.455 f\u00fcr den Export nach Kanada und anderen L\u00e4ndern), was den \u00fcberwiegenden Teil der Produktion von Packard in diesem Jahr ausmacht.
