\"Oakland<\/a><\/p>\n

Die Oakland 101 von 1930 war die erste Acht Zylinder, die das Unternehmen seit 1917 gebaut hatte. Es basierte auf einem Radstand von 2970 mm und trug die Unterseite der Fisher-Karosserie, die l\u00e4nger aussah. <\/p>\n

Zur Serienausstattung geh\u00f6rten vordere und hintere Sto\u00dff\u00e4nger und Kotfl\u00fcgel (zu etwas h\u00f6heren Preisen), Sicherheitsanzeigelampen \u00fcber den vorderen Kotfl\u00fcgeln, ein vibrierendes Horn, das an der vorderen Kotfl\u00fcgelankerstange montiert war, ein Kadetten-Windschutzscheibenbetrachter, ein automatischer Scheibenwischer, ein blendfreier R\u00fcckspiegel, ein verstellbarer Fahrersitz, nat\u00fcrlich verarbeitete Jaxon-Holzr\u00e4der und Lovejoy-Hydrauliksto\u00dfd\u00e4mpfer.<\/p>\n

Die Produktion des Oakland Modells 101 (Dezember 1929 bis Oktober 1930) belief sich auf 21.943 Fahrzeuge.<\/p>\n

Motor <\/strong>: V-8. Durchmesser und Hub: 3-7\/16 x 3-3\/8 Zoll. Verschiebung: 4.111 cc. Pferdest\u00e4rke: 85, Verdichtungsverh\u00e4ltnis: 5,0:1. Gek\u00fchlt durch Wasser.<\/p>\n

TECHNIKER <\/strong>: 180-Grad-Kurbelwelle mit drei Hauptlagermotoren; einstufige Ausf\u00fchrung; horizontal angeordnete Ventile, die direkt von Kipphebeln bet\u00e4tigt werden, die von einer zentral angeordneten, kettengetriebenen Nockenwelle aus arbeiten; Vierpunkt-Motorhalterungen mit Gummiisolatoren an der R\u00fcckseite und Lamellenfedern an den vorderen Ecken sowie einem speziellen Synchrongetriebe (ein Ende dieser Vorrichtung ist am Rahmen befestigt, w\u00e4hrend das andere Ende in den Block gef\u00fchrt wird, wo es durch die Nockenwellenumdrehungen aktiviert wurde); 9-5\/8 Zoll Einscheibenkupplung; Dreiganggetriebe.<\/p>\n

Radstand 2970 mm. 28″ x 5,50″ Reifen, selbstanregende Vierradinnenbremsen. Achs\u00fcbersetzung: 4,42:1 (optional sind die \u00dcbersetzungen 3,9:1 und 5,2:1 erh\u00e4ltlich).<\/p>\n

OPTIONEN <\/strong>: Sechs verchromte Drahtspeichenr\u00e4der und Seitenringe; vordere Kotfl\u00fcgel mit Reifenzwischenr\u00e4umen.<\/p>\n

GESCHICHTLICH <\/strong>: Am 15. Oktober 1930 verlie\u00df Irving J. Reuter die Pr\u00e4sidentschaft von Olds Motor Works, um General Manager der Oakland Motor Div. zu werden. 273501 Oakland war der erste V-8, der seit 1917 vom Autohersteller gebaut wurde. Aufgrund des B\u00f6rsencrashs vom Oktober 1929 w\u00fcrde der Branchenumsatz von Oakland 1930 im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um ein Drittel sinken.<\/p>\n
